On 8 March every year, International Women’s Day is celebrated worldwide, and for 2026 the theme is ‘Give to Gain’ – focusing on fostering gender equality through collaboration, mentorship, and resource-sharing – something that WOLF has always committed to for all of its team members in its London, Newcastle and Jordan offices.
This International Women’s Day is the perfect opportunity to take time to recognise, and welcome the insights, experiences and expertise that our female team members bring to the creation of new and innovative iterations of the app. Their female perspective helps mould our app offerings to ensure they are attractive, interesting and gender-equal for all our users.
We’re proud that both the WOLF Qanawat app and the WOLF team are both great examples of places that are free of bias, stereotypes and discrimination, while celebrating diversity, inclusivity and equality. In-app, our team works hard to ensure all users are respected and heard, implementing moderation and supportive processes for a safe and happy community.
To celebrate International Women’s Day this year, we’d like to introduce two valued team members. Tala Matouk, a Programme Manager, is our newest recruit, joining the Jordan office in October 2025. She works closely with other teams to ensure the smooth collaboration and execution of product releases, while keeping track of industry trends, by monitoring the Community Team’s work and evaluating competitors.
Experiencing her first International Women’s Day at WOLF, Tala says: “I’m excited to be part of such a dynamic and innovative environment, and I appreciate the diversity of what WOLF Qanawat offers and the wide range of challenges and opportunities it brings.
“WOLF is committed to fostering an inclusive and supportive work environment for women. Not only does the company offer equal opportunities, but it also integrates diversity into its product offerings, ensuring that women’s voices and needs are well-represented.”
A key, long-standing team member, Huda Aideed, works from both the London and Amman offices – the epitome of cross-functional working that has made our teams so cohesive and productive in the last couple of years since introducing it.
Huda has worked at WOLF since January 2022, when she started leading content, PR and social media, before stepping into her current role as Director of Community, Communications and Marketing.
Huda says: “WOLF has given me the opportunity and freedom to scale community authenticity, balancing cultural nuance across the GCC and the wider Arab world. By championing culturally relevant programmes, creator ecosystems, and fandom-driven engagement in the MENA region, we shape how social platforms approach Arab audiences, moving from translation to true cultural participation. I continue to advocate for community-first design as the future of social audio entertainment and gaming platforms.
“After more than four years at WOLF, my ‘wow’ moment was leading the team through 2025, which was WOLF’s best year in terms of financial results, aligning community, communications, and commercial strategy to drive measurable growth.”
Gary Knight, CEO at WOLF, says: “WOLF’s ethos has always been rooted in belonging, sharing, exploring and entertaining. We’re proud that both our users and our teams can find an inclusive space where they’re free to express themselves, knowing that diversity brings many opinions to the table and helps broaden our minds so we can craft amazing experiences for users. We love to think WOLF ‘gives to gain’ for both team members and users, offering a space to learn, grow, excel and be rewarded.”
