We are looking for a strong iOS Developer to join our dynamic team of developers, helping to expand and enhance our iOS application to meet the needs of our growing user base.
You will play a pivotal role throughout the development lifecycle, working closely with other iOS developers, Android developers, web client developers, server developers, designers, product owners, and project managers to deliver high-quality, scalable mobile solutions that align with our business objectives.

Reporting To: Chapter Lead, iOS
Salary: To be determined by experience
Responsibilities:
– Develop, maintain, and enhance advanced iOS features. Collaborate in small project teams to deliver new features, identifying potential issues and leading the implementation of solutions.
– Utilise modern programming techniques and frameworks to enhance application performance and user experience.
– Maintain high standards of code quality, adhering to clean code practices.
– Write unit tests and actively participate in the code review process, providing and receiving constructive feedback.
Qualifications:
– Solid experience with Swift, including exposure to SwiftUI.
– Proficient use of source control tools such as Git.
– Strong understanding of native iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
– Familiarity with MVVM practices and comfortable with the transitioning codebase.
– Experience in Agile / SCRUM work environments.
– Ability to produce maintainable, clean code and comfortable writing unit tests.
– Familiarity with issue tracking software such as Jira
Nice to Haves:
– Experience with Protocol-Oriented Development (POD).
– Experience working closely with QA teams and automated testing.
– Experience providing and receiving constructive pull-request feedback.
– Experience with Objective-C.
The candidate must have a good standard of English, both written and spoken.
From time to time, there may be some travel to the UK office.
As a minimum, the candidate must be in-office for 2 days a week, aligned to the rest of the Engineering team in Amman.
