The team here at WOLF – The World’s Online Festival – is celebrating after Software Developer, Anna Bauza was shortlisted for three Women in Tech Excellence Awards.
The awards, sponsored by Computing Magazine, seek to recognise top-performing women from across the technology space and provide inspiration for younger women looking to build a career in our industry.
Anna was shortlisted for Digital Leader of the Year, Diversity and Inclusion Initiative of the Year, and Hero of the Year, which recognises women that have shown excellence in support of others.
Anna, who has over a decade of experience in the sector, joined the business shortly before the company rebranded to WOLF from its predecessor Palringo.
Passionate about diversity in the sector and encouraging more female leaders to the industry, Anna launched ‘STEM Diverse TV’ – a project set up to change the perception of STEM and encourage people of all backgrounds to consider the sector as a career choice.
Anna hopes that by changing the perception of STEM it will encourage more young girls to choose technology in higher education and dismiss the idea that computing and tech is a job for the boys.

WOLF provides social freedom to people, in a virtual world; particularly relevant during a time when we don’t have that luxury of our normal day-to-day lives.
Unlike other entertainment apps, WOLF focuses on audio; rather than being locked into a stream, users can use the virtual stage for singing, comedy, listening to performers, or simply catching up. Way before the pandemic, the company launched WOLF to allow people to join digital communities with people of shared interests, make new friends and experience live entertainment, in an online world. Users can interact with shows by engaging with hosts and performers, in real-time. In the absence of key events this year such as Glastonbury and Coachella, WOLF empowers people to create an authentic festival experience where you can stumble across new performers and discuss them with friends.
